The Legacy of The Hi-Lo's: Many academic communities have embraced and expanded the musical contributions the group made, by including Gene Puerling's vocal arrangements in their vocal studies and programs. My clinics & coaching sessions employ the groups repetitive "woodshed-the-fundamentals" - combined with the natural joy of making music with the human voice, and what an amazing phenomenon it is! --When you NAIL it!!
